The woods and work are in honour of David Hawke-Treneer, who ended his life by suicide in 2013. David’s parents bought this small area of abandoned private woodland and have transformed it into a place of tranquillity and healing.
It’s available for local schools and mental well-being groups.
The day was spent painting a long fence, assembling a shed and laying gravel on a pathway.
