Our stories, research, and evidence show how our work transforms lives.

We believe that troubled young men should not be written off by society, so we are incredibly grateful to the trusts and foundations whose long-term generosity has enabled us to reach more young men and local communities across the UK.

For over 10 years, abandofbrothers has provided mentoring support for criminalised young men.

Support from trusts and foundations has helped us to:

Helped me understand myself hugely and find the new real me. Also now feel I have a place in this world and a new family.

Better than jail and wasting money to keep someone in jail.

It works.

Impact and reporting

abandofbrothers is committed to collecting data about the work we do and using it to measure our impact.

We report openly and honestly about the funding we receive and tailor our reports to the interests and objectives of each trust or foundation.

We regularly collect case studies from young men, families and volunteer mentors to demonstrate the difference we make to their lives. Read more about our impact

[After doing abandofbrothers] I was upset because I was thinking about friends who had died from drugs overdoses and seeing that I had a responsibility towards others if I was selling drugs. I’d never seen this before, I just thought I was hurting myself by taking drugs, and that other people would have sold it to them if I hadn’t. But after The Quest, I saw that if I sold drugs, I had a responsibility in this chain of events, even if the drugs that I sold didn’t directly kill my friends. I saw my role differently.
