David Harland

Trustee

Dave’s passion for social enterprising, healthcare, and charitable trusts led him to work within the community and environmental well-being industry. He spent over a decade within the management team and as CEO of the Eden Project and Eden International. With a background in strategic leadership, Dave is guiding the next phase of The Lost Gardens of Heligan, ensuring its continued success as one of Cornwall’s most cherished and internationally renowned gardens, as well as being an independent advisor for the Smit family.

After being introduced by friend and mentor, Richard Good, and attending a Mentor Training and a Community weekend, Dave was inspired to become an advocate for abandofbrothers.  He remains a member of the nascent Mid-Cornwall (St Austell) Circle.

In addition to his executive roles, Dave serves as a Non-Executive Director for several organisations, including Falmouth University, the NHS, and Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust.
